I have developed a suite of policies, procedures, registers, documents and job aids which reflect the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission's Core Module Standards. The Policies may position you well to lodge an application for Registration for low risk services delivery (such as Support Coordination) and to undertake a Verification audit.
The policies have not been tested against the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's requirement, but in an earlier form, they assisted me in registering with the Queensland Department of Communities.
The policies are simple and straightforward and feedback to me is that they are easy to follow and are easily rebranded to reflect each individual service provider.
The policies are presented on my own template, but you can easily rebrand to your own template.
The Policies sit within the NDIS low risk Core Module Standards:
Rights and Responsibilities.
Person Centered Supports
Code of Conduct
Confidentiality and Privacy
Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation
Behaviour of Concern.
Provider Governance and Operational Management.
Feedback and Complaints
Conflict of Interest
Provision of Supports
Access and Transfer
Don't forget that the Queensland Department of Communities stopped taking applications for registration on 1 April 2019 and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission will only begin taking applications for registration from 1 July 2019. The Commission is available on 1800 035544, but may not respond to registration based inquiries from Queensland until after 1 July 2019,
